Prop-firm copy-trading rules

Does your prop firm allow copy trading? Here's what each firm says.

Every row below comes from the firm's own published rules — help-center pages, FAQs and rulebooks — with a link to the source and the date we last checked it. Nothing here is from memory or hearsay. Where a firm hasn't published a rule, we say so instead of guessing.

16 FIRMS · EVERY ROW SOURCED & DATED · RE-VERIFIED MONTHLY

Read this before you copy anything

  • Your firm's word is final — ask their support before you copy. This page quotes published rules, but firms apply judgment case-by-case, and a support ticket costs nothing next to a funded account.
  • Rules change. Each row shows when we last verified it against the firm's page, and we re-verify the whole page monthly. If a row looks stale, trust the firm's page over ours.
  • No firm on this page endorses Copymoar or has reviewed this page. Firm names are used to reference their published rules only.
  • The rule that repeats down this page: almost every firm that publishes copy-trading rules bans holding a buy and a sell on the same market across accounts (hedging) — and where a firm hasn't published one, don't assume it's fine. Never copy opposite directions.
Before the rules — the platform question

What your firm runs on decides what a copier can do.

Each firm issues accounts on a trading platform. Copymoar connects to four of them — if your firm runs on something else, Copymoar can't copy those accounts, and we'd rather tell you that here than after you sign up.

Platform → can Copymoar copy it?
TradovateSupported. Copymoar connects with your normal Tradovate sign-in.
NinjaTraderSupported. NinjaTrader brokerage accounts connect the same way.
TopstepX / ProjectXSupported. Connects with username + API key.
RithmicSupported. Copymoar runs as a registered app on Rithmic's production order system.
Volumetrica, Quantower & othersNot supported. Firms whose accounts run only on these platforms can't be copied with Copymoar today — their rows are below anyway, because you asked about the rules, not our feature list.

Apex Trader Funding

RITHMICTRADOVATEWEALTHCHARTSALLOWED — OWN ACCOUNTS

What Apex publishes

“Copy trading across PA accounts under your personal name and business name is allowed.”
— Apex help center, “How Many Paid/Funded Accounts Am I Allowed to Have?”

  • Same direction only. The same article adds that the hedging rule still applies — all PAs must trade the same direction, with no hedging of correlated assets.
  • 20 active PA accounts max, counted across everyone in the same household, companies and connections, on Rithmic, Tradovate or WealthCharts together. Going over 20 makes you ineligible for payout and risks forfeiture and closure.
  • No limit on evaluation accounts, per the same page.
  • Copying with other traders is banned. Their Prohibited Activities page lists trade copying with other traders — along with shared computers, IPs and cards — as strictly forbidden.
  • No hedging of any kind — holding long and short on the same or correlated instrument at once is prohibited. Their rules also ban fully automated trading; the copy-trading rule above sits alongside that, covering trades you place yourself.

SOURCES: support.apextraderfunding.com — account & copy-trading limits · apextraderfunding.com — prohibited activities
LAST CHECKED: JULY 17, 2026 — Apex's help center blocks automated readers, so wording was verified against archived copies of these pages (Feb 16 / Mar 25, 2026) plus current search captures. Confirm against the live pages.

If you copy with Copymoar

  • Copymoar only copies accounts you connect yourself — there is no signal-sharing between different people's setups, which is the version Apex bans.
  • It never holds a buy and a sell on the same market across your accounts — the hedging Apex prohibits.
  • One leader drives each copy group, so followers stay same-direction by construction.

Platform note: Copymoar connects to Apex accounts on Rithmic and Tradovate. WealthCharts accounts are not supported.

Topstep (TopstepX)

TOPSTEPX / PROJECTXALLOWED — WITH LIMITSOWN DEVICE · NO VPS

What Topstep publishes

“You can hold up to 5 active XFAs at a time.”
— Topstep help center, Express Funded Account parameters

  • Trade copiers are addressed directly: the same page allows up to $750K of buying power using a trade copier, and states that hedging across accounts and coordinated trading with others is prohibited.
  • Cross-account hedging is enforced regardless of cause. Their hedging page defines it as simultaneously long and short the same or correlated instrument across accounts, says enforcement happens when size, duration and intent criteria are met — no exceptions — and holds you responsible for anything created by automated systems or third-party tools.
  • TopstepX has a built-in Trade Copier for Trading Combine and Express Funded accounts only — their docs state Live Funded accounts cannot use it. Follower accounts are automatically unlinked when a payout request is submitted, and the lead account must have the lowest maximum position size in the group.
  • Own device, no VPS. Their API-access page states that all trading activity must originate from your personal device, and that VPS, VPNs and remote servers are prohibited by Topstep's Terms of Use. Their prohibited-conduct page repeats the VPN ban, and prohibits coordinated trading with others and trading on behalf of others.

If you copy with Copymoar

  • Copymoar never holds a buy and a sell on the same market across your accounts — including the temporary opposite positions Topstep warns copy software can create.
  • One leader drives each copy group.
  • Daily loss limits are set per account, matching Topstep's daily-loss framework.
  • Desktop vs hosted matters here: Topstep says trading must come from your personal device and bans VPS and remote servers. Copymoar's hosted plans run on our servers — that likely doesn't qualify. For Topstep, run the desktop app on your own machine, and confirm your setup with Topstep support.

Platform note: Topstep runs on TopstepX (ProjectX) — Copymoar connects with your username + API key. Topstep's published copier rules cover Trading Combine and Express Funded accounts; for Live Funded, ask Topstep before copying anything.

Bulenox

RITHMICNO EXPLICIT RULE — ASK FIRST

What Bulenox publishes

“Using Trade Copiers, Algorithms, Strategies, Bots”
— section heading on Bulenox's Qualification Account help page

  • Copiers are addressed, but only sideways. That section says connecting to Rithmic through a third-party API or "Trader Composite Software" carries a $100 monthly fee, and that Bulenox isn't responsible for third-party software. Their live help pages contain no explicit sentence allowing or banning copy trading itself.
  • Their old knowledge base did say more — an archived copy of the now-offline bulenox.help stated copy trading was permitted between your own Bulenox accounts only. That site has been taken down, so treat it as historical, not current policy.
  • Account structure is published and current: unlimited Qualification accounts, up to 11 active Master accounts, but only 3 Master accounts can be activated simultaneously at first — each additional one requires an active account back at its starting balance. Everything must sit under one Rithmic User ID; a second login gets profiles deleted without refund.
  • No cross-account hedging rule found on their live help pages — that's a gap to ask about, not permission.

SOURCES: bulenox.com/help — qualification account (copier fee, account rules) · bulenox.com/help — master account (11-account cap, activation rule)
LAST VERIFIED: JULY 17, 2026 — the own-accounts-only wording exists only on their retired knowledge base (archived copy, 2025), flagged above.

If you copy with Copymoar

  • Email Bulenox support before copying anything — with no explicit published rule, their answer in writing is worth more than any table row, ours included.
  • If they green-light it: Copymoar copies only accounts you connect yourself, never hedges the same market across accounts, and runs one leader per group.

Platform note: Bulenox runs on Rithmic (R | Trader, NinjaTrader 8 via Rithmic, and other Rithmic front-ends) — Copymoar connects to Rithmic accounts directly.

Legends Trading

TRADOVATENINJATRADERRITHMICNO PUBLISHED COPIER RULE — ASK FIRST

What Legends publishes

“You can manage multiple accounts at one time using the same credentials.”
— Legends Trading help center FAQ

  • No copy-trading rule is published. We searched their knowledge base for copier, copy trading and automation rules and found none — the quote above is the closest thing, and it isn't a copier policy.
  • What is published: hedging is banned within a single account or across multiple accounts, restrictions apply across all accounts on your profile, and trading on behalf of others — or aggregating several people under one identity — is prohibited.
  • Account caps: 10 Apprentice evaluations; 5 Master accounts without further review.
  • Sim and Live accounts can't run together — going Live forfeits Sim accounts.

SOURCES: knowledge.thelegendstrading.com — FAQs · knowledge.thelegendstrading.com — prohibited conduct · knowledge.thelegendstrading.com — account limits
LAST VERIFIED: JULY 17, 2026

If you copy with Copymoar

  • Ask Legends support before copying — they haven't published copy-trading rules, and an unpublished rule can still be enforced.
  • The rules they do publish map cleanly: Copymoar never hedges the same market across accounts, and copies only accounts you connect yourself — no trading on anyone else's behalf.

Platform note: Legends states it supports NinjaTrader/Tradovate, TradingView and Rithmic — Copymoar connects to Tradovate, NinjaTrader and Rithmic accounts. Per their FAQ, NinjaTrader rides their Tradovate connection, not Rithmic.

Tradeify

TRADOVATERITHMICWEALTHCHARTSALLOWED — OWN ACCOUNTS

What Tradeify publishes

“You may only group trade between accounts you own and manage.”
— Tradeify help center, copy-trading rules

  • Copying with other people is not permitted — the same article bans copying other strategies or copy trading with others, and says third-party copiers are used at your own risk with no Tradeify support.
  • Caps: evaluations are unlimited; Simulated Funded accounts are capped at 5 per user and per household.
  • Consistency rules apply per account (e.g. 35–40% on evaluations, 20% on Lightning funded accounts per their rules overview) — copying doesn't change the math, but a big day lands on every account at once.
  • VPN/VPS: their FAQ says you cannot log in over VPN/VPS; after a normal login, VPS use for trading is described as at your own risk.

SOURCES: help.tradeify.co — copy-trading rules · help.tradeify.co — simulated-funded account cap · help.tradeify.co — common FAQs (VPN/VPS)
LAST VERIFIED: JULY 17, 2026

If you copy with Copymoar

  • Copymoar copies only accounts you connect yourself — own-accounts by construction, which is exactly Tradeify's line.
  • It never hedges the same market across accounts, and one leader drives each group.
  • Given their VPS wording, the safest read for hosted plans is ask Tradeify first; the desktop app on your own machine sits clearly inside their rule.

Platform note: at checkout Tradeify accounts are Tradovate-based (Tradovate/NinjaTrader/TradingView), Rithmic-based, or WealthCharts. Copymoar supports the Tradovate and Rithmic routes; WealthCharts accounts are not supported.

Lucid Trading

TRADOVATE / CQGRITHMICCOPIERS PERMITTED

What Lucid publishes

“Automated trading systems and trade copiers are permitted”
— Lucid Trading help center, permitted activities

  • Copiers are on the permitted list outright — with the trader fully responsible for any software errors, malfunctions or unintended outcomes.
  • No own-accounts-only rule is published. Lucid's rules pages don't state whose accounts may be linked — that's unusual, and not something to assume in either direction. Their terms and support are the place to ask.
  • Caps: up to 10 active evaluations per household, up to 5 active funded accounts per household, 10 combined.
  • Consistency: per-account consistency percentages apply at payout (20–40% depending on account type, per their help articles) — a copied green day counts on every account.

SOURCES: support.lucidtrading.com — permitted activities · support.lucidtrading.com — account limits
LAST VERIFIED: JULY 17, 2026

If you copy with Copymoar

  • Copymoar fits the published rule: a copier, driven by your own trading, with you responsible for the outcome.
  • It copies only accounts you connect yourself, and never hedges the same market across accounts.
  • Since Lucid doesn't publish whose accounts may be copied, confirm own-accounts scope with their support before linking anything.

Platform note: Lucid runs a CQG feed (NinjaTrader, Tradovate, TradingView) and a Rithmic feed (Quantower, Sierra and other fronts). Copymoar connects to the Tradovate/NinjaTrader and Rithmic routes.

Take Profit Trader

TRADOVATE / CQGRITHMICAPPROVED COPIERS ONLY

What Take Profit Trader publishes

“The following trade copiers are approved for use”
— Take Profit Trader help center, Trade Copier Policy

  • Copiers are allowed for your own accounts only, from a named list: Tradesyncer, TradeCopia, Affordable Indicators, Replikanto Flowbot (Compliance Edition only), and platform-native copier tools (Tradovate, NinjaTrader, MotiveWave, Quantower). Unapproved copiers can draw enforcement action, and the list can change at any time.
  • Copymoar is not on that list today. We say that plainly: using it at Take Profit Trader without their written approval would sit outside their published policy.
  • Scope rules: copiers may not coordinate trading between different users, identities, or accounts you don't own and control, and may not enter opposing or offsetting positions to neutralize risk.
  • Caps: practice tests unlimited; PRO accounts capped at 5 active per person.

SOURCES: takeprofittraderhelp.zendesk.com — Trade Copier Policy · takeprofittraderhelp.zendesk.com — rules for multiple accounts
LAST VERIFIED: JULY 17, 2026

If you copy with Copymoar

  • Don't copy Take Profit Trader accounts with Copymoar today. Their policy names the copiers they allow, and Copymoar isn't one of them.
  • If you want to use Copymoar there, ask Take Profit Trader whether they'll approve it — their policy says the list can change — and get any yes in writing.

Platform note: their accounts run on CQG (Tradovate, NinjaTrader, TradingView) and Rithmic feeds — technically connectable platforms, but their approved-list policy is what governs. Policy beats plumbing.

Alpha Futures

ALPHATRADERWEALTHCHARTSVOLUMETRICAQUANTOWERALLOWED — SINGLE USERNOT COPYMOAR-COMPATIBLE

What Alpha Futures publishes

“…permitted as long as it is a single user executing the trades”
— Alpha Futures help center, copy trading

  • Copy trading is permitted for one person's own accounts — the single individual listed on the Alpha Futures accounts, executing the trades themselves. They even suggest using your smallest account as the leader.
  • Automated, Group, and Reverse Trading are strictly prohibited — copying between different traders is group trading, and reverse (opposite-direction) copying is banned in both phases. Copier malfunctions are your risk, not theirs.
  • Caps: Qualified-account limits by plan (5 Zero, 5 Direct, 3 Advanced — and any Standard/Advanced holder is capped at 3). One username per individual, one individual per household.

SOURCES: help.alpha-futures.com — copy trading · help.alpha-futures.com — account limits · help.alpha-futures.com — available platforms
LAST VERIFIED: JULY 17, 2026

If you copy with Copymoar

  • Copymoar can't serve Alpha Futures accounts today, and we'd rather say it than sell around it. As of July 2026 their platform lineup is AlphaTrader, WealthCharts, Volumetrica Deepchart and Quantower — none of which Copymoar connects to.
  • Their older Tradovate/NinjaTrader platform articles have been superseded — don't buy anything assuming those still apply.

Platform note: if Alpha Futures adds a Tradovate, NinjaTrader, TopstepX/ProjectX or Rithmic route again, this row changes — that's what the monthly re-verify is for.

TradeDay

TRADOVATENINJATRADERALLOWED — WITH STRUCTURENO VPS

What TradeDay publishes

“You're welcome to use copy trading across our evaluations or funded accounts.”
— TradeDay help desk, multiple-accounts article

  • Six accounts total at any one time across evaluation, Funded Sim and Funded Live — max 3 active Funded Sim, up to 5 Funded Live — and all accounts must sit on one trading platform.
  • Copy trading between Funded Sim accounts is capped: you may trade or copy between 2 or 3 Funded Sim accounts only, and Funded Live and Funded Sim can never be traded simultaneously or copied to each other. Copying from your personal account elsewhere into TradeDay is allowed.
  • Hedging is prohibited — long in one account, short in another on the same product means offboarding, suspension, and forfeiting funded profits. Identical trades across different users gets all accounts shut down.
  • No VPS, no VPN. TradeDay states it does not allow virtual private servers, and IP-masking tools must be off at funding, payout and review checkpoints — or the account is shut down.
  • No third-party bots, no direct API access for automated systems.

SOURCES: tradeday.freshdesk.com — can I have multiple accounts · tradeday.freshdesk.com — account limits & hedging · tradeday.freshdesk.com — VPS & VPN policy · tradeday.freshdesk.com — bots & identical trades
LAST VERIFIED: JULY 17, 2026

If you copy with Copymoar

  • Copymoar never hedges the same market across accounts, and one leader drives each group — same-direction by construction.
  • It copies only accounts you connect yourself.
  • Desktop vs hosted matters here: TradeDay bans VPS use. Copymoar's hosted plans run on our servers, which that rule likely covers — for TradeDay, run the desktop app from your own machine, and ask TradeDay support before copying at all.

Platform note: TradeDay accounts run on Tradovate (and platforms connected through it, including NinjaTrader) — both supported by Copymoar. Remember their one-platform rule when grouping accounts.

Earn2Trade

RITHMICTRADOVATENINJATRADERNOT ALLOWED

What Earn2Trade publishes

“The use of trade copiers is not allowed on any of our programs.”
— Earn2Trade help center

  • The ban covers everything: using a copier to pass evaluations can void the funded account or withdrawals, copiers stay off-limits even on LiveSim and Live accounts, and accounts that used one aren't eligible for refunds.
  • Account caps still exist for manual trading: up to 5 evaluation accounts and 3 funded accounts concurrently — traded by hand, with hedging between funded accounts strictly forbidden.
  • Their multiple-accounts page confirms no leader-follower or copy system is provided between accounts.

SOURCES: help.earn2trade.com — trade copier policy · help.earn2trade.com — multiple accounts
LAST VERIFIED: JULY 17, 2026

If you copy with Copymoar

  • Don't. Earn2Trade's published rule leaves no room: no copier, on any program, at any stage. Copying Earn2Trade accounts with Copymoar — or any copier — puts the account and withdrawals at risk.
  • If you trade at Earn2Trade alongside other firms, leave your Earn2Trade accounts out of your copy groups entirely.

Platform note: their accounts run on Rithmic, Tradovate and NinjaTrader — platforms Copymoar supports — but the firm's rule, not platform compatibility, is what decides. Here it's a clear no.

BluSky Trading

TRADOVATERITHMICVOLUMETRICAALLOWED — OWN ACCOUNTS

What BluSky publishes

“Trade Copier Allowed: Yes”
— BluSky help center, listed for each account type

  • Allowed on every account type they list — evaluations (any number, any combination) and funded accounts alike.
  • Funded accounts cap at 3 at any time, with per-type caps (e.g. 2 Live Brokerage), and Live Brokerage and Sim Funded can't be traded at the same time.
  • Opposite-direction trades on the same product are forbidden — their page cites CME Rule 534 and warns the brokerage will permanently close the account. No exceptions.
  • Copying other people is banned: their prohibited-conduct page forbids copying trades from another trader, account or signal provider, and trading on behalf of third parties.

SOURCES: help.blusky.pro — accounts & trade copier · help.blusky.pro — prohibited conduct · help.blusky.pro — Sim Funded platforms
LAST VERIFIED: JULY 17, 2026

If you copy with Copymoar

  • Copymoar never holds opposite directions on the same market across accounts — the CME Rule 534 scenario BluSky warns about.
  • It copies only accounts you connect yourself — not other traders' signals, which BluSky bans.
  • One leader per group, daily-only loss limits per account.

Platform note: BluSky's Tradovate and Rithmic accounts are supported by Copymoar. Their Volumetrica-based Sim Funded accounts are not — Copymoar doesn't connect to Volumetrica, so those accounts can't be copied with it.

Phidias Propfirm

RITHMICNINJATRADERTRADOVATEDEEPCHARTSALLOWED — OWN ACCOUNTS

What Phidias publishes

“Copy trading is allowed within our guidelines regarding the number of authorized accounts.”
— Phidias Propfirm rules page

  • Account caps are the guardrail: up to 5 CASH Premium + 5 CASH Fundamental + 5 Express-to-Live accounts per person, company or internet connection (150K CASH accounts count double within their category; evaluations unlimited). Their copy-trading page sums it as up to 15 accounts, all belonging to the same trader.
  • Third-party copy software is explicitly permitted — at your own risk: Phidias takes no responsibility for copier failures, and identical strategies exceeding the allowed capital can get accounts suspended. Exceeding the caps: excess accounts terminated, no payouts.
  • No fully automated trading. Their rules ban robots and fully automated algorithms; only semi-automated software is permitted, with the trader actively monitoring and manually adjusting all trades. Opposite-direction positions across accounts are prohibited.
  • Consistency tie-in: on CASH accounts, a single day's profit must stay within 30% of total profits — identical copied trades hit that threshold on every account at once, so size with the rule in mind.

SOURCES: phidiaspropfirm.com/rules · phidiaspropfirm.com/copy-trading
LAST VERIFIED: JULY 17, 2026

If you copy with Copymoar

  • Copymoar is copy software driven by trades you place yourself and watched from an open dashboard — read Phidias's semi-automated clause and confirm with their support how they class your setup.
  • It never opens opposite directions on the same market across accounts.
  • Copies only accounts you connect — same-trader by construction.

Platform note: Phidias runs on Rithmic-compatible platforms, NinjaTrader and Tradovate — all supported by Copymoar — plus DeepCharts with dxFeed, which is not.

FFN (Funded Futures Network)

ONYXQUANTOWEREDGEPROXNINJATRADERALLOWED — OWN ACCOUNTS, MAX 5

What FFN publishes

“You can copy trade a maximum of 5 accounts.”
— FFN FAQ, help center

  • Own accounts only, hard cap of 5: their trading rules permit replicating trades across accounts owned and registered by the same individual, up to 5 — and no more than 5 accounts may trade the same product at the same time. Break that and none of the accounts in the trade are eligible for funding.
  • Their copied-trade test is strict: any trade taken at the same time on the entry or exit across multiple accounts counts as copied.
  • Copying other traders is prohibited — running a copier to replicate someone else's positions, or letting your trades be copied to other people's accounts, disqualifies every account in the arrangement.
  • Account totals: up to 10 accounts, of which 5 may be funded. Automated trading is allowed at FFN's discretion, and VPS use is explicitly permitted for the registered holder.

SOURCES: fundedfuturesnetwork.zendesk.com — FAQ (copy cap, platforms) · fundedfuturesnetwork.zendesk.com — independent trading rules
LAST VERIFIED: JULY 17, 2026

If you copy with Copymoar

  • Copymoar copies only accounts you connect yourself and runs one leader per group — FFN's own-accounts model.
  • Their 5-account cap is yours to respect in group setup — Copymoar copies to however many followers you add, so add at most what FFN allows.

Platform note: FFN's published platform list today is Onyx, Quantower (FundX), EdgeProX, MotiveWave Mobile and NinjaTrader. FFN doesn't publish which connection rail their NinjaTrader accounts use, and the rest aren't platforms Copymoar connects to — ask FFN (and us) what your account runs on before assuming a copier can attach.

FundedNext Futures

TRADOVATENINJATRADERTRADINGVIEWALLOWED — OWN ACCOUNTS

What FundedNext Futures publishes

“Traders can freely copy trades between their own FundedNext Accounts.”
— FundedNext Futures help center

  • Copy tools are explicitly allowed — their policy names Tradovate's built-in copy feature, NinjaTrader modules like Replikanto, and any third-party platform, as long as they copy your own trades only. Copying across firms is fine if you own every account involved.
  • Names must match exactly: they may verify that every linked account is registered under the exact same name — spelling variations included — before accepting the setup.
  • Prohibited: copying another person's account, coordinated group trading, and signal services.
  • The effective ceiling is the account cap: up to 5 FundedNext Accounts at any time per user and per household, $750,000 max combined allocation, 15 Challenges per month. VPS and VPN use is explicitly allowed.
  • These are their futures rules — FundedNext's forex/CFD product has different copy-trading rules on a different help center. Don't mix them.

SOURCES: helpfutures.fundednext.com — copy & group trading policy · helpfutures.fundednext.com — account limits · fundednext.com — futures trading platforms
LAST VERIFIED: JULY 17, 2026

If you copy with Copymoar

  • Copymoar is exactly the third-party category their policy allows: software copying your own trades to your own accounts.
  • It never hedges the same market across accounts, and one leader drives each group.
  • Their 5-account and $750K ceilings are yours to respect when you build the group.

Platform note: FundedNext Futures runs on Tradovate (with NinjaTrader and TradingView connecting through it) — a route Copymoar supports directly.

My Funded Futures (MFFU)

TRADOVATENINJATRADERVOLUMETRICAQUANTOWERALLOWED — ALL ACCOUNT TYPES

What MFFU publishes

“MyFunded Futures allows copy trading across all account types.”
— MFFU help center

  • Copiers are welcome, liability is yours: their copy-trading article names Tradesyncer and Tradovate's built-in group copier, permits external copier services, and disclaims all liability — you indemnify them and own compliance.
  • Copying between different traders is prohibited — their Fair Play rules bar traders from copy trading one another and from coordinating identical or opposite strategies across unconnected accounts; their terms ban using multiple accounts to hedge, mirror or coordinate for unfair advantage.
  • Caps (the effective copy ceiling): up to 10 active Evaluation accounts; up to 5 active Sim-Funded when holding only $25K/$50K sizes; holding any $100K/$150K Sim-Funded drops the cap to 3.
  • Device rule: traders may not share a device with another trader (their Fair Play rule) — separate traders, separate machines.

SOURCES: help.myfundedfutures.com — copy trading · help.myfundedfutures.com — fair play rules · help.myfundedfutures.com — account limits
LAST VERIFIED: JULY 17, 2026

If you copy with Copymoar

  • Copymoar copies only accounts you connect yourself — the own-accounts pattern MFFU's Fair Play rules require.
  • It never hedges the same market across accounts, and one leader drives each group.
  • Daily loss limits set per account help you respect each account's own drawdown while copying.

Platform note: MFFU offers NinjaTrader, Tradovate, TradingView, Quantower, Volumetrica, DeepCharts and ATAS. Copymoar connects to the Tradovate and NinjaTrader routes; accounts on Volumetrica, Quantower or the other fronts' own rails are not supported — check which your account uses.

Elite Trader Funding (ETF)

TRADOVATENINJATRADERRITHMICAPPROVED COPIERS ONLY

What ETF publishes

Their terms prohibit copiers and automation “not expressly authorized in writing by ETF”
— Elite Trader Funding Terms of Service

  • Copiers run through an approved list. Their Trade Copier Disclaimer names Tradesyncer, Tradecopia, Affordable Indicators (Duplicate Account Actions), Replikanto Flowbot (PropFirm Compliance Edition only), and platform-native copy features (Tradovate group trading, MotiveWave, Quantower). Anything else needs ETF's written authorization.
  • Copymoar is not on that list today. Plainly: using it at ETF without their authorization would sit outside their terms.
  • Even approved copiers are at your own risk — payout requests trigger a session audit, and violations mean resets, forfeited profits, and permanent bans for repeats. Letting any third party manage or execute trades on your account is prohibited.
  • Caps: up to 5 active Elite Sim-Funded accounts for evaluations purchased on or after September 17, 2025 (older purchases are grandfathered up to 20); 5 active DTF accounts. Their terms also bar VPS/VPN/proxy setups that hide your identifying device or IP, and set a 10-second minimum trade duration.

LAST VERIFIED: JULY 17, 2026

If you copy with Copymoar

  • Don't copy ETF accounts with Copymoar today — their list doesn't include it, and their terms require written authorization for anything off-list.
  • If you want it there, ask ETF for written authorization first. If that changes, this row changes.

Platform note: ETF accounts run on Tradovate and NinjaTrader with Rithmic available as a data feed for many fronts — connectable platforms, but their approved-list policy is what governs. Policy beats plumbing.

Rules move — this page moves with them. Every row above is re-verified against its sources monthly, and each carries the date of its last check. If a firm's page disagrees with ours, the firm's page wins — tell us in Discord or at support@copymoar.com and we'll correct it. And whatever this page says: your firm's support has the final word. Ask them before you copy.

FAQ

The questions behind the question.

Will copy trading get my funded account banned?

It depends entirely on your firm. Most firms on this page allow copying between your own accounts; one bans copiers outright (Earn2Trade), and two only allow copiers from a named approved list (Take Profit Trader, Elite Trader Funding). The tripwires that get accounts closed at nearly every firm: holding opposite directions on the same market across accounts, copying other people's trades, and exceeding the firm's account caps. Read your firm's row above, follow the source link, then ask their support.

Does any firm allow copying another trader's account?

None of the 16 firms here publishes permission for it, and every firm that addresses it prohibits it — copying between different traders, signal services, and trading on someone else's behalf are banned wherever they're mentioned. Copy trading at prop firms means your trades, mirrored across your accounts.

How many accounts can I copy at once?

Whatever your firm's account cap is — that's the effective copy ceiling. The published numbers range from FFN's explicit "copy trade a maximum of 5 accounts" to Apex's 20 active funded accounts per household, with most firms landing between 3 and 6 active funded accounts. Each row above quotes the firm's own numbers with a source link — and the caps change, so check the date stamp.

Does it matter where the copier runs — my PC or a hosted server?

At some firms, yes. Topstep says trading must originate from your personal device and bans VPS and remote servers; TradeDay bans VPS too. Other firms explicitly allow VPS (FFN, FundedNext Futures). Copymoar's Pro plan runs on your own machine; Pro+ and Elite run on our servers — so for firms with own-device rules, use the desktop app and ask the firm about anything hosted. Each row above says which case applies.

My firm isn't listed, or their page says something different.

Firm pages change without notice, and this page is only as good as its last check — that's why every row is dated and re-verified monthly. If a firm's own page disagrees with ours, the firm's page wins. Tell us in Discord or at support@copymoar.com and we'll fix the row; if your firm isn't here yet, ask and we'll research it for the next pass.

Rules cleared with your firm?
Then copying is the easy part.

Copymoar copies your whole trade — entry, stop, target, partial exits — to every account you own on Tradovate, NinjaTrader, TopstepX/ProjectX and Rithmic. See how it works or read the full guide.
